futuretronとは、future【未来】とretro【回顧】と（elec）tron【電子】が組み合わさった造語です。「懐かしい未来を電子音で奏でる」というのがこのアルバムのコンセプト。参加した全てのアーティストは、1980年代のテクノポップ〜ニューウェイヴが、何らかの形でルーツになっています。しかし、当時のアーティストがそうであったように一見無縁と思われるさまざまなジャンルの音楽を吸収、解釈、換骨奪胎していくことにより、新しいグルーヴ感を見事に生み出しています。それらは、グループ・サウンズ、童謡、テクノ歌謡、アイドル歌謡、演歌、モンド・ラウンジ、フレンチポップ、ギターポップ、クラブ系テクノ〜ハウス等であったりします。

Technopop & New Wave music in the 80's is the root for the artists in this album in a certain form. However, --- similar to the 80's great Techonopop & New Wave artists --- all the artists in this album absorb, interpret and adapt various genres of music that look unrelated on the surface --- they are Group Sounds (Japanease Domestic Surf Rock), Children's songs, Idol songs, Enka (Japanease old style Ballad), Mondo Lounge, cute French pop , modern British pop, Club Sound like Techno, House music, etc. As a result of these attempts ,the new Groove is created in a splendit fashion.<<<<<<<<<<<
